A consultation is currently £130.00 which is payable at the appointment.

A consultation usually takes 40-60 minutes during which time the trichologist will take;

•  A full medical history
•  Hair shaft analysis is performed
•  Diet and exercise discussed
•  Hairdressing history established
•  Family history (androgenetic)
•  Trichoscopy (see note)
•  In some cases we will request Blood testing. (see note)
•  Treatment plan will be given.

Notes:

Trichoscopy is the examination of the hair and scalp with a 4k HD digital microscope.

Blood testing can usually be requested from the patients G.P. or is available at Iveridge Hall privately.

All of these factors will be investigated using a holistic approach which aims to identify and treat the root cause of the problem, rather than just the symptoms.
